Style or Sty: Francis Bean Cobain 19th , Florence Welch for Vogue And Katie Holmes

So I have a couple of things to show you guys that I'm pretty excited about.
This past week was the 19th birthday of Francis Bean Cobain. The date was marked with a undeniably beautiful photoshoot with Rocky Schenck.

I won't say I'm a fan because she hasn't exactly 'done' anything, (she hasn't used her name to get her fame, unlike other celebrity offspring/siblings)..

But none-the-less, I am so incredible proud of her, she could have gone down a long spiraling path but she has stayed out of harms way and out of the spotlight and everyone seems to respect her that much more for it. Which means any future career choice of hers will be taken seriously.

I hope she gets everything she deserves from life and has a good one.. Like I said, I'm soo proud of her.
She is a beautiful, confident Lady with the brighest of futures ahead of her, I can wait to see what she does.

What do you think of her look in this photoshoot. Style or Sty. I personally think 'Style', she looks amazing.

On another note.

Have you seen the Cover of Vogue Japan for October 2011 yet?
Florence Welch of the Band Florence and the machine is set to grace the cover, looking a little like Karl Lagerfeld.
She was Styled by Chanel's Creative Director and is wearing a Chinoiserie-Style Suit, giving her a break for her usual floaty, floral ensembles. But this is a look every has come to know as the 'Lagerfeld look' and he has been known to turn his clients into versions of himself.

I love Little Miss Florence and Karl Lagerfeld, but I'm stuck on this, I'm not sure if I like it. I mean, The garments are beautiful and put together well, but I reckon the whole 'ftm' transformation for editorials is a little past it... hmm

So what do you guys think, Style or Sty?

Lastly.

I've just come across this picture of Katie Holmes.
I don't know whether the garments just don't match, or that they do but the whole thing just doesn't suit her or her body type. It could even be just a dodgey camera angle. This has really left me confused.
I won't say anything other than.. Style or Sty.

Let me know what you think on all of the people mentioned.. Style or Sty.

Lime Crime: Lip Noir.

I came across Lime Crime a while ago on my hunt for a lipstick that kept bright colour but still had a gloss finish. It got to a point where I was paying £35+ for dozens of lipsticks that promised bright colours but were actually very faint and watered down.
When I first ordered lipsticks from them, I basically melted in Lime Crimes Palm. I didn't think I'd ever use another lipstick again.
Until I desired the almighty Black lipstick, I searched through numerous brands looking for the perfect black but was once again facing the same problems, too faint and only 'tinted' your lips black.

My prayers have been answered. Today I discovered this new lipstick line from Lime Crime, My Gothic heart squeal with joy.

They are introducing Three New colours, Black(Styletto), Grey(Chinchilla) and a Sexy Deep red (Glamour 101). I personally can not wait to get my hands on all three of them and will be doing countless reviews on them and showing them of to anyone I get the chance too.

September 1 is the big release day, so get them whilst you can from here.

Skin Care: Blemishes, Dryness and Dark Circles

Hey guys, I'm Back. I always see posts from followers and friends about these topics and as Fashionand Beauty blog, I'm hear to supply you with advice.

I’m going to share with your some amazing simple tips for you skin that actually work..

Blemishes and Spots: Especially blackheads and whiteheads. Remove your make up and wet your face. Mix aprx. 1teaspoon of Bicarbonate of soda with a couple of drop of water in the palm of your hand to form a paste. Using circle motions, rub this on to your skin, avoiding the eyes. If you already have dry skin use 3-4 days days a week. If you have quite hydrated or oily skin, it is fine to use this everyday..This will dry your skin out anyway so use then next step straight away to reduce effects of drying out. Available at most grocery stores.

Dryness: Use ‘Aqueous cream BP’, it is a very low cost, very effective moisturiser, which can be washed away with water to act as a soap/cleaner too. It is available in most pharmacys and drugstore, dollar stores, the internet.. Either way it will only cost a couple of dollars/Pounds.. I bought a 500ml tub for £1.29.. If you have had eczema, you are most likely to have been prescribed this too.

Dark Circles: This is AMAZINGG, honestly. I can’t remeber how I found this out but It’s .. idk…. Slices of raw potato.. Yes.. Cut slices like people do with cucumbers.. Your might want to cut them into semi-circles so they fit under your eyes. But basically Raw potato is a natural bleach and removes( mostly) dark circles from underneath the eyes. Leave them there for about 15mins, then wash your face, because you’ll smell like a potato.

Guy, I wanted to share these with you because I think they are too amazing to not share..

The Military Jacket Rises for Fall 2010

This Season the Military Jacket is still going strong but is bigger and bolder than ever since being cross with the ever-loved Trench coat.

So for you lucky lookers, I have complied a list of Military Trench Coast available in the UK for high street prices.

For Guys, Topshop have their own catergory for you, which hasn't only made it easier for me but has given you aload of different style at affordable right on your doorstep.Click Here.

For Women, it's never that easy..

  1. Okay this first one, it's not a trench coat but as i was searching i found it and thought it was Gorgeous.. Click here to see Original

2.The next one is a bit pricey, but i think it is definitely worth it. It's the type of jacket that gets better with age and will still be in for the next couple of seasons and then will probably be back in about 5 or 6 years...Even I will invest in this Diamond
3.This next one still is very feminine, whilst still being the fitting in to the Masculine military Trench Category..

4.Normally for Jackets, Even though they do come in wide range of bright colours, I will always say stick to Black because It goes with anything and you'll be able to use it in a couple of seasons. This one is still a neutral colour but because it's light, it will give you a fuller looking figure and you'll have to wash it often.

I was going to add in some really low cost jackets as well, but the bargain site I found is currently under maintenance ... Go Figure. So I'll do an update in a week or so.

The Body Con Diet

The Body Con Diet (Menu + Exercise Regime)
The body con dress was was the must have piece of clothing in 2009 and is still expected to be a hit in 2010. So we have come up with this diet to help look stunning in that body con.

Body-con dresses such as these are in all the shops now but, unlike some celebrity fashions, this is one style you'll want to copy. And curvy girls can raise a cheer - this style looks better on a womanly figure than a size zero, which explains why buxom girls like J-Lo, Kelly Brook and Katherine Jenkins are wearing it.

As every celeb knows - body-con (standing for body-conscious) is the only dress to wear this season. It’s made from stretchy, clinging fabric, it's a look straight out of the 1980s and can be found everywhere from Prada to Primark but all body-cons are not equal. Choose badly and it is the least forgiving style you'll ever wear. But get it right and it becomes the sexiest, curve-flattering dress money can buy.

How to pull it off

The great thing about a body-con dress is that it pulls the two most important areas in and up - your chest and backside - making your boobs and bum look fabulous.
However, there are two other hotspots that can let the whole look down: a big tum ruins the entire dress shape, while flabby arms will also rub off some of its magic.
But don't panic, help is at hand.

Our easy-to-follow and effective plan will help reduce bloating and shift a few excess pounds so you really notice a difference when you slip on your slinky dress.

Your diet plan
The best way to shift, belly fat, trim your arms and lose inches all over is by eating lean protein (fish and chicken) and low GI (wholegrain) carbs. The great thing about this diet is that you don't eat any less and don't count every calorie. Stick to it and you'll soon see small changes make a big difference.

The Rules
1.Throw Out The Ready Meals. Cooking fresh foods instead of processed will reduce your daily intake of salt, sugar and saturated fat and help beat the bloat for a trimmer tum.

2. Plump For Protein Power. Eat more energy-providing fish, chicken, nuts, and pulses. Eating even a little bit of protein with each meal can help suppress food cravings.

3.Mini Size Me. Make sure you're eating the right portion sizes. At lunch or dinner your serving of meat or fish should be no bigger than the palm of your hand, carbs no more than a fistful, and the rest of your plate should be filled with veg.

4.Eat Good Carbs. Research in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that the waistlines of people who ate white carbs (like white bread) expanded three times more than those who ate the same number of daily calories from wholegrains. Swap to wholegrain cereal, bread and pasta.

5.Ditch Daily Desserts. Your evening meal should leave you feeling full. Don't eat a dessert simply out of habit and become uncomfortably bloated. Allow yourself one a week as a treat and really savour it.

Dress yourself slim

The great thing about the body-con dress is that it comes in a variety of fabrics and styles and can suit every body shape. Here's how to pick the right one for you...

Big Busted: The bandage dress is the perfect shape for you as the sculpted top half of the dress will make the most of your cleavage. Avoid strapless styles, as they won't provide enough support.

No Curves: If you have a boyish straight up and down shape, go for styles with high necklines and big shoulder detailing as seen on the likes of Kate Moss and Anna Friel. They will draw the eye away from your bust.

Big Tummy: If your stomach is your problem area, go for double-layered body-con dresses in thicker fabrics and with panelling at the front, to help flatten out any bulges.

Pear-SHAPED: Go for dark, block colours which will flatter a bigger bottom half, and steer clear of patterned or pale coloured dresses.

Chunky Thighs: Go for longer styles finishing no higher than just above the knee or have a fishtail to add balance.

Your body-con workout.

1. Tummy trimmer

Forget killing yourself doing hundreds of sit-ups, your best bet for a flatter belly is the plank.

How To Do It: Lie face down then lift yourself on your toes and forearms, with your elbows at 90 degrees. Hold for 10 seconds and build to 40. Three times a day.

2.Arm shaper

Gentle weight training tones arms. Using a light weight try bicep curls, 3-4 times a week.

How To Do It: Standing feet hip-width apart, hold a water bottle in each hand and bend knees slightly. Make sure your elbows stay tucked in and with palms facing inwards, then slowly lift the weights to shoulder level. Inhale and lower. Do three sets of 12 repetitions.
